Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Vaelis platform you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Description of service
Vaelis is a booking and client management platform for service businesses. We provide tools for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and communicating with clients. The platform is provided on an 'as is' basis.
3. Account registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@vaelis.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform — including attempting to gain unauthorised access, distributing malicious code, scraping data, or using the service for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Payments and billing
Where a paid plan is selected, billing occurs on the cycle agreed at sign-up. You are responsible for keeping payment details up to date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@vaelis.uk to discuss.
6. Data and privacy
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. We process data in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable data protection law.
7. Intellectual property
All content, trademarks, and software comprising the Vaelis platform are owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vaelis shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
